FEATURES
The DJ Model PC and PT-18 are sensor elements composed of a ceramic diaphragm on which a strain gage bridge and an adjacent thermistor are deposited by screen-printing. The thick film strain gages and thermistor are molecularly bonded to the ceramic diaphragm. This diaphragm is then pressed onto a ceramic base via high temperature glass sealing to form an 18 mm diameter sensor capsule. The PC-18 series is zero balanced and temperature compensated. The PT-18 series is uncompensated but has a thermistor accessible for temperature monitoring and thermal compensation. The packaging options include circuit conditioning, connections, and pressure ports all configured to OEM specifications. Packaging materials include Stainless Steel and Plastic for lower ranges.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
The thick film/ceramic technology is particularly useful for those pressure sensing applications that required outstanding media compatibility with aggressive fluids and gases, very high dielectric isolation and require a long term stable performance.
