Our DF2 thru-FLO™ pressure transmitter was designed to meet a wide range of HPLC needs.
As a vital component of a new high-pressure liquid chromatography pump, engineers at a leading HPLC supplier needed a truly specialized pressure sensor. The device would have to measure pressure in a system with zero dead volume and uninterrupted flow.
One small difficulty: no such pressure sensor existed. So the designers turned to DJ Instruments. Our experts first worked with the pump designers to understand the customer’s business objectives. Then they swiftly but carefully reviewed the customer’s rigorous technical requirements.
DJ Instruments design engineers realized that to meet specifications, they’d have to develop a whole new product category. So they did. And delivered a prototype for verification in very short order. Through close collaboration with in-house manufacturing engineers throughout the development process, the new pressure sensor was also able to meet the customer’s price point and delivery schedule.
